ALP-X

The ALP-X pump is designed and built for extrusion processes. It is used for increased control and performance in polymer processing. The ALP-X comes in standard  and customized executions, making it possible for the most demaning processes.

Adding a gear pump to an extrusion process has the following main benefits:

  • Very stable output flow
  • Very stable outlet pressure
  • Reduced extruder wear (main pressure built op by the pump)
  • Increased pressure (up to 700 bar)

Standard or Custom

Material use is important, especially in harsh operating conditions. Wetted materials are amongst others: 

Capacity ​ ​ ​: <1 kg/hr up to 10.000 kg/hr
Differential Pressure ​: max. 250 bar - standard 
​ ​ ​ ​  up to 700 bar - custom
Temperature ​ ​: up to 400 ˚C
Viscosity ​ ​ ​: up to 20.000 Pas

Polymers ​ ​ ​: PS, PET, PVC, PC, ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​  PA, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, ​ ​ ​ ​  PP, PEEK
Additives + Fillers ​: Flame retardents (bromide)
​ ​ ​ ​  Glass, Carbon Blacks, ​ ​ ​ ​ ​  Colorants, ...

 

Shaft Sealing + Materials
